Do you suffer from Piles getting stuck (no, not those kind!) in the
target when you take your Arrows out? If you do then this is the
tool for you, a nicely turned comfortable Yew handle, with a 4 1/2" brass
rod set in it, simply place the rod into the hole your arrow made and push
the pile out the other side, as demonstrated in the picture. As these
are all hand made the Yew will no doubt have slightly different colouring
and grain to the one photographed.

This beautiful head is cast from a mold in solid silver, the shape is of a `type 16` style, length is approx 1 1/2" (3.5cm), the socket is similar to a 3/8 pile/point. The weight of the silver is approx 9.5gm Due to casting and the original from which the mold was made there are slight imperfections on the surface, these could no doubt be polished out should you wish to do so.
